It is one of these six kinds of organization
Student organizations, family welfare associations, alumni associations, community welfare and benevolent societies, small charities and foundations, and faith organizations.
It does not exist to distribute profit
The organization's purpose is to serve its members or its community rather than to return earnings to owners or shareholders. Charging fees is fine. Running a surplus is fine. Paying that surplus out to owners is the line.
It can reasonably show what it is
A registration, a constitution, a public page, an affiliation with a parent body — whatever the equivalent is where you are. We are checking that the organization is real, not auditing it.
What we may ask for
- The organization's name
- A website or public page, where one exists
- Which of the six categories it falls under
- The country it operates in
- Roughly how many members or accounts it carries
- Something that shows the organization is genuine
- A contact person and their role
Not sure whether you qualify? Read who the program is for first, or write to hello@zetu.app and ask. A commercial organization that is not eligible is still welcome — that is what pricing is for.
